Lotis Math was created after 11 years of teaching high school mathematics in the classroom. Over the years, I worked with students across a wide range of abilities and backgrounds, and one truth became clear: confidence grows when instruction is clear, structured, and focused on true understanding.
I am especially committed to supporting students who may feel lost or overlooked in large classrooms, as well as families who are homeschooling and seeking clear guidance through the high school math curriculum.
Many students become frustrated with math not because they lack ability, but because they lack clarity. When instruction feels rushed or confusing, discouragement can quickly follow. I believe that with clear explanations, thoughtful curriculum, and steady support, those negative experiences can gradually transform into confidence and capability.
I also believe education should be accessible to everyone. With today’s technology, students have the opportunity to learn from anywhere, at any time. The free lessons, notes, and practice resources on this site are offered with that belief in mind — to provide reliable, structured instruction for students who need support.
Lotis Math is meant to be one more trusted resource within the growing online library of educators who are making learning more accessible. For students who need additional structure, collaboration, or individualized attention, small group instruction and one-on-one tutoring are available to provide deeper guidance.
My goal is simple: build understanding first, and confidence will follow.
